Indeed, wine, especially in Italy, is always on everyone's lips: we speak about it, we said this and that, but then... what do we really know about tasting? Free Walking Tour Italia has questioned a local sommelier. The result? Well, come and taste it by yourself. 

If you are a wine lover and wish to share joyful moments (wine makes us happy), better discover the art of drinking and the tasting ritual, you can't miss our tasting. 

We decided to create a characteristic tastings to allow everyone to discover and deepen our region through a wine itinerary designed for you: "The wines of Emilia-Romagna, a tour among the best and most significant wines of our territory" (5 glasses)

Do not make plans for later because you will hardly want to leave ;)

Hi Claire, thanks for answering. You will be tasting 5 different local wines, selected by the sommelier according to the season. 

Hi, I'm a wine lover but not a heavy drinker. Does the wine go with food or appetizer?

Hi, the tasting goes with little appetizers, portions are not huge. If you want to experience more about food, check out our “EAT BOLOGNA - Street Food Tour", available every day on late afternoon.

We liked the place very much!

It was a really nice Event! Good wine, great food, good service. We really enjoyed the time.

Highlight of our trip!

Bianca was brilliant - so knowledgable and friendly, it felt like grabbing a drink with an expert friend.

We visited places that we could have easily missed just visiting the city for the first time, and even went back to one of them.

Beyond Bianaca’s knowledge of wine she also went above and beyond to make restaurant recommendations and made sure we could get around the city easily. We visited most of her recommendations, and it was definitely worth it.

We would absolutely recommend this and will be encouraging all our friends and family to do the same!

Fantastic wine tour

This is a fantastic tour where Bianca takes you to 3 lovely little wineries which are not "touristy" but make you feel like a local Bologna resident! Bianca is very knowledgeable and passionate about the wines and just lovely to spend time with.
She also went out of her way to take us to a cool music/food festival after the tour, where we had a great night. She also gave us loads of information about Italian culture, food, and Bologna city, with restaurant recommendations etc.
Can't recommend this tour highly enough, a real highlight of our holiday!

Emilia che sorpresa!

Ridendo e scherzando, inebriati dai colori, dagli odori e dai sapori abbiamo trascorso delle piacevolissime ore insieme.
Bianca, la sommelier, è una ragazza molto molto preparata ed appassionata che fin da subito ci ha messo a nostro agio. Siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi dalla scelta, vini delle nostre terre, dai nomi del quotidiano che meritano di più! Complici perfetti i locali scelti.
Che aggiungere altro se non...alla prossima che speriamo sia quanto prima!!!!!
